WAFF is dedicated to delivering the news to the great city of Huntsville and beyond! The morning shift starts at 4am to do just that! I've never worked in a more organized and determined work enviroment in my life. Alot goes on behind the sceens and its a very hard job keeping up with everything.. but these wonderful people manage to pull it off no matter how early, how late, or how confusing it all gets! Considering no eating establishments are open at such an early AM.. We dont get a chance to grab a REAL breakfast much.. =] It would be most awesome if we could be bestowed such an awesome gift! Often the patients come here after nothing else has worked, and they feel like giving up. How awesome for them to have people to encourage them and cheer over each accomplishment they make with them. I do not know any other therapy company in town that offers each patient their BEST effort every single day.

The Wonderful Family I work for

I'm Allison Chandler and I know attend Auburn University but I have worked for the Borden about 2 years now, one full time during highschool and one when I was home from Auburn on breaks. I know that WayFM advertises Borden Pharamacy and Market Shoppe on the air so im not sure if that disqualifies us from being able to receive this or that fact that we operate our of Cullman, instead of Birmingham. But, I thought it was a great opportunity for me to express my gradtitude for this wonderful family. I have enjoyed every minute of working for this family and the coworkers. The Bordens uphold the best costumer values I have ever seen. They enjoy what they do and inturn that makes all the employees enjoy their jobs. Not only do the Bordens have outstanding values in the work place, they also do within their own family. You can see the kind of Christian influence they have when teaching their kids morals or just being a friend to all their employees. They have the perfect balance of how to have authority without having an authoritarian leadership style. They are authoritative because we have rules they the "Borden Family"(employees) must live by but they don't dictate and expect us to be perfect. When I went off to college, they didn't leave me behind. When you work for the Bordens you become apart of them, even when you leave they dont forget you.I kept in touch on frequent basis althroughout my first year of college and I read the bible that Kami (my boss) gave me as a graduation present. From the moment I was hired they have been one of the greatest influences in my life. Like I said I'm not sure if because you advertise us I can actually nominate us for this but I wanted to jump on the opportunity to tell everyone about the wonderful family I have been blessed to work for.

Just wanted to comment on my work place. We are a sponsor for the radio station and have been lucky enough to win breakfast thanks to your wonderful station once before and it was such a blessing. I am so thankful for your station. it keeps Jesus in my office all day listening while I work via the internet. Thankyou for that! Our office has experianced it seems more sadness in the last few months than one office can seem to have. God has been great and he has delivered me thru things I can't beleive. I feel like a treat like lunch would do this office some good. Thru my difficulties God shows up thru people that care and I think this office needs a reminder that God loves them and these difficulties will pass. Thankyou for your consideration.

Why lunch for the vendor crowd would be a blessing

I work at Redstone Arsenal as a jewelry vendor. Most of the people I work with are not Christian, but know that I am. A lot of them are much younger than me (50), but I believe would be thrilled if a Christian Radio stationed and its sponsors brought lunch to the base. Many probably don't even know there is a Christian radio station that plays really neat music. I have such a burden for these people especially a lot of the younger vendors at the base. Many of us vendors work hard at selling our wares, dealing with all kinds of customers, and most of us receive very few perks if any since most of us are self-employed. I feel like this would show Christian kindness to them and maybe open doors for them to investigate an area they probably have never thought of--being Christian radio & music....hopefully leading them to accepting the Lord. Thanks for the opportunity to share.

Way FM

I lost my husband to a terminal illness 3 years ago. Since then I've started back to school and currently work part time at Calhoun Community College. I listen to Way FM on my way to and from work/school. There are many days that I leave Calhoun so tired and sometimes discouraged. The songs on Way FM always gives me exactly what I need for that particular time and moment. I'm so thankful for all of you allowing God to use you in this way. God Bless You all!

I have worked for Sportsmed Orthopeadic Center for almost 6 years. It is a great place to work and we really get along good. In our job we help people by makeing them feel better. Often in a days work we see patients with many types of Orthopeadic issues an are in alot of pain. When are person is pain from just having surgery they need someone to be kind an understanding to them. I try to show each and every patient I see the love of Jesus because the only time they may hear "I will be praying for you" could be from me. I believe that I am truly where God wants me. i love to listen to the station during the day on my computer and in my vehicle. It is very important to lift up the body and encourage one another daily. i recieve encouragement from this station's music and laugh at some of the jokes. you guys are great. I hope to see you out at an event. we have a great team here. there are a mixture of diferent kinds of people that make everyday interesting, to say the least. they work hard and sometimes long hours to get the job done. Thank you for such a wonderful message to listen to on the way to work! I have asked that you pick the staff at SAS Redstone for free lunch Friday. They have cared for my child for many years now and you have never seen such a loving, Christian group of people. Sometimes I think they love our children as much as we do. :) I have watched one woman go through a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. She still meets the children at the door with a smile and a hug. All of the staff, Ms. Ashley, Mr. Robert, Ms. Mary, Ms. Janice, Ms. Laquida, Ms. Kim, "Coach" and so many others. They care for children who are upset their parents are deployed and love what they do. It shows. Blessings to you all!

I work with the best bunch of women ever!! We teach kids from the ages of 15 months to 4/5 years old. Every week we take the kids to music, gym time and to Chapel every thursday. I would love to be able to thank them for all they do!!

I work with some amazing people in the Sparkman High School Math Department. These people work daily to try to make a positive difference in the lives of the young people of this community and our future leaders. These teachers devote extra hours daily to tutoring before and after school trying to help their students be successful! Please acknowledge their hard work and dedication. So many times teachers are only acknowledged for the bad things that happen. No one ever praises teachers for the good things they do, only the bad! The good far outweighs the bad. If a teachers makes a difference in a child's life, then we have been successful! Please consider this great group of Math teachers!!!

We work for the Downtown Rescue Mission in Decatur Al, our job is to feed and clothes the homeless and make sure they have a nice warm place to eat and sleep. We work hard everyday because what we do at our store goes to the mission and provides for them, this doesnt even seem like a job because we love taking care of people and making sure they have what they need. Everybody gets down and out every now and then and we here at the Downtown Rescue Mission are here to make sure people doesnt do without food, clothes, and whatever they need. We love our job and we are here to help the community Hope to be eating with you soon and you can come down and see the work we are doing to help the community.

I thank you first of all for Way FM for all you all do, God works right through you all to speak to me. I volunteer for United Way in Morgan County in Decatur and I love them so much. They have really taught me so many things, and I have had so many new opportunities to grow myself through the past year, volunteering with them.
