I listen to WAY-FM every morning on my way to work and I've heard you talk about the Drive Thru Difference program. I've been wanting to do this for someone myself, but never expected someone to do it for me. A lady did it for me this morning at the Starbucks on University Drive. She didn't know this, but I had actually left my debit card in my coat pocket yesterday and didn't have it with me, nor did I have any cash. After I placed my order, she reached in front of me and swiped her credit card. I was shocked! She insisted that she pay for my order and I was overwhelmed with emotion. It's amazing how that one act of selflessness made my day. Whoever you are, I would like to thank you again for blessing me with your kindness. I hope to do the same for someone else. God Bless!

I am so thankful for Way-FM. A couple of weeks ago our pastor was asking if the parents were listening to the words and not just the beat of the music their teens were listening to? It was so nice that in my mind I reminded myself that my teen ONLY listens to 88.1. It really was nice to know that that is not an area we struggle with. She is loving and caring. I thank GOD all the time that she listens not just hears but really listens to your station and carries the message she gets into her personal life to overcome struggles of peer pressure. We thank you. Keep up the great work. God is good.

WAY-FM has changed my life along with my church, Crosspointe church. It seem as though WAY had just the right insprational music at just the right time. How you do it can only be explained by God's will working through the radio station. Keep up the wonderful work you are doing.

I just want to let you know that you all are recognized for the service of God to his people(us). It is greatly appreciated. There is many many secular radio stations today that it is so hard to find a station that is uplifting and encouraging. This station has helped me through more than you can ever imagine. Because of the faith and trust of Jesus Christ and being held tightly by his forgiveness... I know that I can get through the day. Thanks so much again!

My name is Steadman. I just want to say thanks to everyone who helps to bring 88.1FM to the air waves. It is so nice to be able to turn on my radio and listen to great Christian music. All the other radio stations play all the secular music and it doesn't do anything for me. Only Christian music lifts up my spirits and heals my heart everytime.

I had been going through many stuggles lately and found way fm on the radio and since then I've been telling all of my friends at school about way fm. When I hear artists like Jimmy Needham, Britt Nicole, and the Almost, I turn up the radio and start singing so loud. Since I've been listening to it my little sisters that I take to school have learned the lyrics. I'm so proud and thankful to a have radio station in this area that reaches out to youth and young adults with such a positive influence. Now my sisters and I sing along with this uplifting and inspiring radio station and don't fill our ears of the worldly music played so often around this type of enviroment. Thank you for all you've done.

I work in a Christian environment, but every morning when I came to work my boss would be listening to a secular music rock station. I told him about Way FM and asked if he had heard about it yet. He said "no" and I told him he should give it a try. So each day I asked him once if he had listened to the yet. He kept telling me "no" until one morning I came in to find our radio station at work tuned to your station! I told him several times before this happened that I was really loving WayFM and was aquiring a long list of new favorite songs! Just the other day he said that he was "loving" this station too! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED:)

I happened upon Way FM by accident or did I? I have a very large yard and I listen to the radio while I mow. Unfortunately I don't get a good reception from the two other Christian radio stations in the area when using my radio headset. I am forced to listen to country or classic rock. When I was getting ready to mow just the other day, my hand hit the tuner and accidently caused the radio to pick up Way FM. I couldn't believe it, a radio station with only Contemporary Christian music and a positive message that wasn't full of static on my headset. I now listen to Way FM exclusively and it puts me in a great mood with all of the up-beat music and scriptures.

I'm 16, so pretty much i used to listen to rap and r&b and other "popular" music amongst my age group, but since you guys started broadcasting i started listening. i've come a long, long way in my walk with christ since then and grown a lot more. Thanks WayFm. But i've always had a problem with confidence in myself. But hearing that song by Chasen, Crazy Beautiful, knowing that im "crazy beautiful, and i don't need anyones approval," because i have Jesus's approval, and in the end thats all that ever mattered. I also came to realize that if we think little of ourselves, or think we aren't good enough, or smart enough, or pretty enough, we are saying that God isn't either, becasue we were made in his image, to be like him. And we all know God is perfect. And even though we aren't we were made in his image to strive to be like him. And if we don't even believe that we are, then how are we to convince others? Thanks Wayfm, and Chasen for writing that song, you've inspired me to be all i can be in Jesus, and you've helped me start to see that i am Crazy Beautiful!!!

After being away from church for several years and without a good Christian radio station to listen to, I continued to bombard my mind with all that garbage from yesteryear when I was someone else. My best alternative for peace came with leaving the radio off on the way to and from work, even though I love music. I even replied, " I like a type of music that I haven't heard yet," when asked what I liked to listen to. (There was not yet a Christian radio station in my area) Then on television I saw a music video of Switchfoot's" I Dare You to Move!" From there I had a thirst for what I didn't know existed, and I began to complain strongly to my co-workers about not having a Christian radio station local. It was then that someone told me about wayfm on 88.1. Through that music, God began to call me back to Him. I had tried in the past to go back to church, but could only manage a time or two every now and then. After what must have been about a year, I began to be faithful in attendance to my local church.

I just wanted to say, "Thank you, WAY-FM" and "GOD BLESS YOU, WALLY!". I am coming out of the worst health crisis of my 35+ years (could have been fatal) and it brought feelings of suicide and worthlessness because of the pain and extremely slow healing process; it's been about 10 months so far and could last another 6 months. God is bringing me through it, but sometimes depression stills sets in. Monday night, I heard Wally on Total Axxess via your station and he was talking about how God sometimes just shows us one thing at a time, rather than the whole. God said, "This is for you! Listen!". My future wasn't looking so bright, but I thought, "Maybe I'm just not seeing everything the way God sees it and all this happened for a reason". It's led me to renew my commitment to Christ once again. I am stepping out in faith by doubling my monthly donation to your station. You all are the best encouragers of faith and have helped countless people; I want to be a part of that. May God abundantly bless your work all the more.

Thank You for everything that you do. I accepted Christ as my savior four years ago, and I was on fire for Christ. Then, three years ago, I rejected God and ran from my faith. I turned to the world, and I haven't found a way to regain all of the ground that I have lost spiritually, no matter how much I want to. WAY-FM has given me a connection to the faith I once knew. It is WAY-FM that keeps me from giving up completely, and from losing hope. The only time that I can feel God's grace and truth is when I worship him through music. So thank you WAY-FM, through you I find strength to keep seeking the Lord. Please keep me in your prayers!

In October of 2007, my husband left me and our children and my life literally fell apart. I started listening to WAYFM every morning on the way to work and every evening on the way home. The songs that I heard got me through the darkest days of my life, especially "Praise You In This Storm." My husband and I reunited in January and are now making our marriage and family a priority. I still listen to WAYFM every day and am so thankful that God never gave up on me, even when I'd given up on myself and everything else.

Your station is so refreshing in this day and age, and greatly appreciated in this city. I'm 22 and a college senior. After everything I've seen and done in the past in college, I needed to find true purpose in my life and reconnect with God. The uplifting and meaningful songs your station plays such as such as Brandon Heath's "I'm Not Who I Was" coupled with returning to church has helped me to reconnect with the Lord and remember where I came from. Thank you WAY-FM for being there morning, noon, and night!

This morning as I was driving my 6-year-old son to school, we were listening to WAY-FM as usual as the song "Made to Love" by Toby Mac came up (which we love). As the song came to an end, my son asked, "why does he say he would give away all his things?" That opened up the door for me to once again share with my son my love for Jesus. I said that I would give away everything I have because God sent His son Jesus to die for me. Then I quoted Romans 5:8 (while we were still sinners, Christ died for us). What an awesome opportunity! All because of Christian music -- and now I know for sure that he is listening to the words and it in turn is impacting his life. Thanks WAY-FM!

I am going through an ugly divorce. Even though I know God hates divorce, I know that He loves me. I am setting an example for my daughter and introducing her to Christian music... and I am addicted! I am so grateful for a radio station that provides such an expression of the emotions that I am going through. I have been in an emotionally abusive relationship and I have alot of healing to do. Music is an extention of me. I have just started a Bible study on Psalms and totally relate. Even though there is so much chaos around me, I feel a peace that passes understanding. I love, need and want my Lord Jesus in my life and it is uplifting to listen to your station and from listeners. Thank you so much for what you do.

Just another note of how good He is. This is by far the worst christmas as far as financially I ever remember. My wife and I have 2 girls, 4 and 1 years, and they did not have much under the tree. I was not sure what we were going to do and received a package from way-fm. It was the Veggie Tales DVD that I won from an online contest. That ended up being the highlight of christmas morning. God came through once again. Just when we thought nothing was going to be available for Christmas morning, He made it happen.

Less than a year ago, I was having a really hard time, fighting depression and just the general stress of life. I got to the point where I was ready to take my own life, and actually had everything planned out. The only thing in my life I still could find any worth in was listening to music. So, I decided that if I was going to die, I was going to go out doing the one thing I loved. Just before I was going to do it, I turned on your station. The song that started at that very moment was Skillet's "The Last Night". I found myself just sitting on the ground staring at the speaker, listening to the entire song. This was the first time I had ever even heard of the band Skillet, let alone listened to one of their songs. When I was finallly able to move again, I ripped up the note I had written and got rid of the blade. When my parents came home, I immediately had one of them take me to the store and bought the CD. I listened to it on repeat all day and fell asleep to it that night. It is now my favourite CD, and yours is my favourite station. If you hadn't played that song at that moment so long ago, I would not be alive today. Thank you.

When I lived in Huntsville, I was a monthly contributor of Way-FM. I know it touched many lives to include mine. The choice to listen was simple. It was a station that lived what it professed and touched lives all over the Southern United States. When I lived in Huntsville they discovered I had an incurable Genetic Immune Deficiency. Sometimes WAY-FM was the way to hold on to God. I had some difficult times with hospital stays and visits to the Cancer Center for Antibiotics. I have always said he has chosen my path but for my journey, I must be in his will to find my way. He has done just that. My husband retired from the Army and we moved to Phoenix Arizona. It just happens that the Mayo Clinic, the state of the art Medical facility is here. We don't know yet all of the answers except my disease has progressed. I can only look at God for each day we all should give thanks to Him. I will pray though that the hearts of those hear WAY-FM will give something. Even it is $5.00. Do something. You are in my prayers.

From Restored Marriage

On October 31, 2006 my husband moved out of our home due to an extra-marital affair. On Nov 1, I was listening to Ace and called in and won tickets to see Third Day. My son and I headed to the concert and on the way my husband called and asked if we could possibly talk things over. During the concert, I felt such a peace. I worshiped and prayed and truly felt blessed. When Third Day sang Cry Out to Jesus, I knew in my heart that my marriage would be fully restored and we would eventually share our testimony and help others. My husband returned home the next day, God had truly manifested in his life as well. Some days are still very tough, but as I listen to Way-FM in my car, on my computer at work, etc. I am reminded through the songs that God is faithful. God bless you and your staff in your continued ministry. Jennifer

I am a 19 year old sophomore at UAH. When I began college in the fall of 2005, I decided that church was not something for me and that I was going to step away for awhile and "do my own thing." I have gone through emotional, physical, and spiritual struggles throughout the last year and a half yet I still have fought all the feelings that lead me back to where I know I should be--church, and daily food from my Savior. The "20 minutes a day can change your life" thing that WAY FM encourages listeners to do has helped tremendously in this radical change in my life. Thank you WAY FM, for challenging fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord to make time for Jesus every day! It helped save me!
