Another Life Changed

From Angie

When I lived in Huntsville, I was a monthly contributor of Way-FM. I know it touched many lives to include mine. The choice to listen was simple. It was a station that lived what it professed and touched lives all over the Southern United States.

When I lived in Huntsville they discovered I had an incurable Genetic Immune Deficiency. Sometimes WAY-FM was the way to hold on to God. I had some difficult times with hospital stays and visits to the Cancer Center for Antibiotics. I have always said he has chosen my path but for my journey, I must be in his will to find my way. He has done just that. My husband retired from the Army and we moved to Phoenix Arizona. It just happens that the Mayo Clinic, the state of the art Medical facility is here. We don’t know yet all of the answers except my disease has progressed. I can only look at God for each day we all should give thanks to Him.

I will pray though that the hearts of those hear WAY-FM will give something. Even it is $5.00. Do something. You are in my prayers.

Hey! We love hearing from you, about you... about how your life has been changed and what you think.

From Morgon

I don’t really get along with my dad and we argue all the time. Sometimes I feel that he wishes I was gone. For the past three years my mom has been in and out of the hospital for numerous things so that makes things worse. My first youth pastor told me about this station and it has helped. You guys play the most awesome music and it has helped me in my walk as a christian. So thanks!

From Jennifer

I am a recent believer, worshipper, and child of God. WAY-FM’s songs have helped me bring myself before God and trust Him. As a college senior, it is hard to "be a part of the crowd" and live for God. I chose God and I have never been closer to Him than I have. I listen to WAY-FM all the time - in the car, at work, before I go to bed. It helps me worship Him and keep a positive outlook in life.

From Justin

Hi I’ve had alot of ear trouble and now I have a pick-line in my arm for six weeks I hate it. But, everytime I hear the song "I can only imagine" I pray that someday my ears will be healed. Also WAY-FM has changed mine and others
life.

From Sara of Huntsville

I really appriciate your radio program. I am 14, and in the 8th grade, I listen to way fm every day, and I never turn off my radio. I leave it on when I sleep, study, and even when I’m at school. It probbably bugs the living daylights out of my parents, but I really love way fm! I just wanted to say thanks!

From Vicky at UAH

I’m 22 and it’s so easy to look around at all the drinking and partying around us and to think that’s what will make us happy. When I listen to Wayfm, I remember to look towards God and not what I see going on around me—to not join in with the stuff that seems popular and "carefree." I am thankful that Wayfm reminds me to listen to the "Voice of Truth" that is God’s because there is no better relationship than with Him.

From Sarah in the Valley

WAY-FM has changed my life through the tough times in middle school. There is a boy I used to like and over the phone he told me that he is no longer a christian. Everytine I hear the song "Set Me Free" by Casting Crowns, I pray
for him and the other songs I listen to keep me lifted up and I know that I AM never alone and God is always there for me. I alway listen to you guys in the morinings and night to get me through the day and my sis always sings and dances with me to the music while praising whom is the true God.

From Angela in the Valley

My family listens to WAY-FM every day, whereever we go. During daily trials,
hearing the word of God through song and testimony, helps know that things
will get better. I had made a phone donation of $25, but when I talked it
over with my husband, he said to go online and make it $50. You touch our
lives everyday and we appreciate it very much!

From Misty

I walked out side - and was just thanking God for the beautiful skies, crisp air and all his creations - and I come back to my computer, and hear Jars of Clay - Love Song for a Savoir. God works in great ways doesn’t he? Thanks for letting him work through you!! Take care - God bless and keep rockin ;)

From Jackie

I just wanna say that if it wasn’t for Christ in my life and the Christian music I would be dead right now. In March of this year I got a flesh eating bacteria, and was only giving 12 hours to live. But with Jesus in my life and my mom playing the music I had I SURVIVED. I give thanks to My Lord and Savior.

From A Long time Listener

I’m a long time listener. I love WAY-FM, and I’m so thankful for the ministry. I live in Birmingham, AL now, and I miss it so much! I love what you do for families, teenagers, and college kids. I know that Christian music in my life made a big impact, especially in my high school years. WAY-FM was definitely a huge part of that. It never came off preachy or self-righteous, but was always encouraging and supportive. If you ever wonder if you make a difference stop wondering, you do and it is appreciated.

Thank you WAY-FM for everything you do for this community. The station really helps me put on my armor of God to get ready to go into the spiritual battles of every day life. WAY-FM really encourages me and I sincerely appreciate all you do. God bless you!

From Brandy in Albertville

WAYFM means SO VERY much to me! While Bryan and I were engaged and I was living in Huntsville with my mom, I listened to WAYFM out of Nashville on a Huntsville signal. WAYFM played a song that really ministered to me while Bryan and I were in separate states. The Kry’s "He Won’t Let You Go."

WAYFM is also very special to me because my kids are growing up with positive music! Both my girls LOVE your station and the music you play! Both my girls are born again Christians, now and I truly believe that your station has helped some in the leading of them to the Lord.

I listen to 88.1 everyday. I love most of the music. It is a big part of my daily life. I am a 38 year old Christian woman who has been through cancer, chemo. and a great deal more. The group Third Day’s music was a great encouragement to me in the days when life wasn’t so promising. I have been cancer free for 2 1/2 years and I am so thankful to Jesus for that.

From Beth

I just wanted to send a quick note about how much I appreciate the music you play in the mornings. It is so uplifting to hear such great music while driving to work! This morning the song (I don’t know who sings it), "I get down, You lift me up" was playing, and it was exactly what I needed to hear to get me through my day. Also, my almost two-year-old was "car dancing" as we call it to the music. Thank you so much for all you do!

From Alex

I just want to thank you for the amazing gift of positive music that you give me every day. I’ve seen the tremendous influence that music has on people, and when you’re listening to positive messages, it’s pretty hard to get upset. For 17 years of my life I never understood Christianity, but ever since that day I gave my life away, I began to feel my life fill up with joy, and it’s a beautiful thing. I saw a WAY-FM bumper sticker on a car driving past me, and I changed the station out of curiosity. I haven’t changed the dial since. Day in and day out, WAY-FM makes me smile, lifts me up, and helps me get by.

From Jennifer

My uncle died a year and half ago and it took me the longest to cope with his death, but every time I hear his song, "Who Am I" by Casting Crowns on 88.1, it
helps me remember that he is not in a far better place in heaven.
This comforts me everty time the song is played. Also, your radio
station is so inspiring. No matter what song is playing, if I am having a
horrible day the songs lift me up and give me a reason to smile.

From Restored Marriage

On October 31, 2006 my husband moved out of our home due to an extra-marital affair. On Nov 1, I was listening to Ace and called in and won tickets to see Third Day. My son and I headed to the concert and on the way my husband called and asked if we could possibly talk things over.

During the concert, I felt such a peace. I worshiped and prayed and truly felt blessed. When Third Day sang Cry Out to Jesus, I knew in my heart that my marriage would be fully restored and we would eventually share our testimony and help others. My husband returned home the next day, God had truly manifested in his life as well. Some days are still very tough, but as I listen to Way-FM in my car, on my computer at work, etc. I am reminded through the songs that God is faithful.

God bless you and your staff in your continued ministry.

From Healing thru Music

My 15 year old daughter took her life in July of 2006 I started searching for answers That’s when the Lord extended his hand towards me I reached for him and he picked me up and carried me to a place of peace and contentment he took away my guilt and discarded it like day old bread he caught every one of my tears and comforted my broken heart in a way that was so unbelievable. Your radio station helps me worship every day I started turning off the television and tuning into WAY-FM shortly after Amanda died and I can’t say enough about how listening to your station and reading my Bible and of course prayer keeps me connected. Every radio in the house and in every car is set to WAY-FM. I can’t express how much I benefit from listing to your station.
Thank You!

From Lauren

I am a 19 year old sophomore at UAH. When I began college in the fall of 2005, I decided that church was not something for me and that I was going to step away for awhile and "do my own thing." I have gone through emotional, physical, and spiritual struggles throughout the last year and a half yet I still have fought all the feelings that lead me back to where I know I should be—church, and daily food from my Savior.

The "20 minutes a day can change your life" thing that WAY FM encourages listeners to do has helped tremendously in this radical change in my life. Thank you WAY FM, for challenging fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord to make time for Jesus every day! It helped save me!
